New Cast Iron Planters Installed on Main Street 5th Oct 2023

The old metal tubs were replaced with new cast iron troughs. Bloomers removed the compost and set up the new troughs ready for planting . Garforth and Swillington Independents funded the new units as a part of a scheme to replace street furniture on Main Street. LCC Transport Dept took the old tubs to the Community Wild Life Garden run by Incredible Edibles where the started a new life.
